Don't allow fear to control you

I have been told that fear is one of the main causes that influence people. People fear to ride on air planes because they are scared the plane might crash. People might fear applying for a job because they don’t think they have enough skills to perform a job. Well today I’m hear to be an encouragement to motivate readers to take chances. The bible says, “God does not give the sprit of fear but of joy, love and a sound mind”. In other word if fear is not given by God it is given from the Devil. Before allowing fear to control you remember the bible verse that says, “ I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. I want to give you a personal experience that I’m going through as we speak and hopefully my experience will be an encouragement to you. I hope and pray that his experience will be one that will inspire you to not allow fear to control you. But before I tell you about this instance I want to talk about something else. Now I try to pray to God everyday and prior to doing anything I ask God’s opinion on what I should do. Now every time I ask he answers. The answers that he gives sometimes are easy for me to obey. For example, one time I was in a gas station and God had told me to leave the gas station because the gas station was about to be robbed. Moments after he told me this police officer walked into the gas station and this guy behind me started talking about the gun he was carrying and unprotected the police officer was. That was a time that it was very easy for me to obey but then there are other times God tells me something s and I struggle with listening because of fear. This instance is the situation that I want to discuss with you, and hopefully my situation will be one that will encourage you not to have fear. Currently I’m unemployed. I’m unemployed not because I can’t get a job but because God told me not to work my money will come from blogging. I fear listening to him because I have yet to earn a dime from blogging, and the crazy thing about not earning any money is that God told me not to do anything to make the money but to just write blogs and he will send the readers and money. This is a hard concept to understand because I have a pregnant wife with twins and we have just enough money to pay the bills. How am I going to have money to support her, these twins and the one child that we do have. I tell you how I’m going to get the money. Even though I fear being broke and not being able to support my family, I’m going to trust God and do what he told me to do. And that’s what I want to encourage you to do, trust God and don’t allow fear to prevent you from doing things.
